Steph was an instrumental mentor during my journey to medical school. She provided guidance and insight on a level beyond an ordinary college coach and mentor. She encouraged me to follow my dreams to become a doctor and supported me as a dual sport college athlete. Steph never let my passion for athletics be a barrier to simultaneously follow my passion for medicine; if anything she eased the process.
